Berville sur Mer Feedback"We will definitely return. Thanks for your help, especially as our booking was so last minute." Helen Frampton "We appreciated the high standard and good equipment of the cottage. The location is quite delightful. I doubt you get many Americans as guests, but if you ever need a reference from that perspective, do not hesitate to use our names." Ron and Joy Carlson Lakeland, Minnesota USA "I think you are a little optimistic to allow 2.5 hours from Calais. 180 miles in 3 hours is good going (and I race cars!!)." Mr Quenby "This was a great place to explore the landing beaches." Smith family "An ideal base for visiting Monet's garden and Flaubert's house in Rouen - I had forgotten Normandy was such an interesting part of France." Mr Sasaki-McCapra. "No oyster knife. Will go back.... excellent" Mr C. "You need to tell people that the larger cottages have twice the floor space for only a small supplement." Mr UTTLEY, Bristol. E"verything we needed was there but the breadboard was so well camouflaged we did not find it until Thursday" I. Hatwell. "Easy journey-nice and close to major roads while still feeling 'away from it all'" Verrall Family "No problem with directions, even at 11pm at night off the boat" Mrs Helen Canney "You did not mention that we could buy a return crossing on the Pont de Normandie" Mr Painter "Had I known I would have paid more for one of the cottages with a washing machine." Alice Donald "The sofabed was too low for a wheelchair user." Mr and Mrs Mooncie "Excellent. Mr Neill went out of his way to find dimensions of front door (access for our daughters wheelchair)." Mr Buck "Both my wife and I had a great time." David Clinch "Good base from which to explore historic sites and pretty villages." "Beautiful countryside and nice walk down to the river." Mr Rowlatt "You had me worried when I saw the price was £10 per night. I was expecting a youth hostel. I was wrong. It was wonderful. I will be back." Lucy Kennedy, Findhorn "If anyone enquires about coarse fishing then the answer is to go into Pont Audemer and get a permit at the Tourist Info. One day (11 euro) or 2 week holiday (30 euro) is available. This covers the River Risle and tributaries as well as the lakes complex at the campsite just outside Pont Audemer. It appears trout fishing is best on the inland side of Pont Audemer. I fished on the seaward side which was not dissimilar to a traditional UK river, ie dark and murky and whilst OK for coarse fishing (locals were also there) it's not the place for trout fishing."
